1) English Heritage NMR Job vacancy: Data Team Modern Wrecks Project Officer

The English National Monuments Record (NMR) is seeking a committed team member with an understanding of Maritime archaeology/history to undertake a desk based recording project on post 1945 shipwrecks to bring the NMR’s maritime component in line with the terrestrial record. The appointment will be for 6 months and will be based at English Heritage’s National Monuments Record Centre in Swindon. The post has been funded by MEDIN (Marine Environmental Data Information Network). 2) HAER Maritime Documentation Internship, closes February 8

The Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) and the Council of American Maritime Museums (CAMM) are pleased to announce the HAER Maritime Documentation Internship. The internship permits a student of architecture, engineering, or history, interested in maritime preservation, to work as a summer intern on a HAER maritime documentation project in conjunction with the HABS/HAER/HALS Summer Program.
