S/he must be a leader who can garner respect and support of donors, government leaders, other non-profits and experts in the field. This individual must know how to grow enterprises, take a good brand and make it great, build a world class operation, develop and nurture partnerships, and be a catalyst who can lead and motivate others while creating excitement and energy around The Mariners’ Museum and all its potential.

Museum Teacher
Mystic Seaport Museum, Mystic, CT
Education Department, Museum Teacher: (Year-round, seasonal) This position facilitates interactive, hands-on, engaging, and inspirational learning for students and adults pertaining to Mystic Seaport Museum and maritime history. This position is highly seasonal, with the busiest season and the potential for the most hours April-June, the second busiest season September-November. During the winter there are little to no hours, with the exception of some training and the occasional in-school program. In the summer there are a moderate amount of programs, with the potential of working in our summer day camp program, if appropriate.
