3) Museum Technician (Small Craft), San Francisco Maritime NHP, closes 19 February

This position is located in the Small Craft Department at the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.  Under the supervision of the Curator of Small Crafts the incumbent will be directed toward the preservation and restoration of the Museum’s small craft collection and to the establishment and maintenance of facilities to further this work.  The incumbent will assist in the coordination of curatorial projects and help in the maintenance, operation and documentation of boats and small craft.

4) Deckhand, San Francisco Maritime NHP, closes 26 February

These positions are located in the Facilities and Ships Division at San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.  The incumbent’s primary responsibilities include working on vessels, on docks and in shops to perform maintenance, preservation and restoration work on six National Historic Landmark ships and their components.  These vessels are moored at Hyde Street Pier located along Fisherman’s Wharf.
