1) Conservator, The Mary Rose Trust, closes July 28

Job Description:
We are looking for a Conservator to join our small conservation team and to assist the Conservation Manager with the treatment of artefacts for display in the new Mary Rose Museum (due to open 2012). Initially emphasis will be placed on the stabilisation of both large and small iron objects, although assistance will be required in the conservation of wooden artefacts. 
 
Required Skills:
We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic person with a recognised conservation degree and previous experience in the treatment of archaeological objects from waterlogged sites. Candidates should have excellent attention to detail and communication skills and be able to work with minimum supervision. A positive attitude to changes in priorities and schedules will be required, and the ability to assist in object movement.
