1) Historic Interpreter, North Carolina Maritime Museum, closes 16 February.

General knowledge of state and national history particularly related to maritime history.  General knowledge of cultural and natural resources related to eastern North Carolina.  Prefer a degree in museum studies, education programming, maritime heritage, natural sciences or other related field and experience in education programming at a museum, historic site, heritage center, park or other related facility.

2) History and Social Studies Teacher at a Marine Science Magnet High School, Apply today.

Master’s Degree in subject area a plus.  LEARN has an anticipated opening for a full time History & Social Studies Teacher at the Marine Science Magnet High School in Groton for 2012-2013. MSMHS, operated by LEARN, is a new magnet high school that opened in September, 2011, focusing on delivering an academically rigorous curriculum that prepares students for higher education and marine-related employment, through a highly personalized, science-immersion education.
