HLF Project Development Officer (Part-time) (Fixed term)
Starting salary from £23,121 – £26,779 pro rata per annum with further progression opportunities to £29,249

The School of Applied Sciences is looking for a highly motivated individual to undertake the development and delivery of the ‘Bringing People to the Museum and the Museum underwater’ project. This project is led by Bournemouth University in partnership with Poole Museum Service and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF). The project seeks to create access to a unique and important 17th century ship wreck just outside of Poole Harbour.

You will be highly efficient and organised, flexible and able to manage deadlines effectively. You must have a sound understanding of maritime archaeology and ideally hold the Associate level membership for the Institute for Archaeologists (IfA).

Full of enthusiasm and with initiative aplenty, you are a confident communicator, both verbally and written with the ability to work effectively within a range of community and professional peers. You will be PC literate, with knowledge of website development and digital media skills.

This post is available on a fixed term basis up to 28 months ending August 2014.
