Preservation Virginia seeks enthusiastic and dynamic Assistant Site Coordinator for Cape Henry Lighthouse in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

3) Director, US Naval Academy Museum, closes December 2012

The Naval Academy Museum Director serves as part of the Academic Dean and Provost’s staff, and furthers the development of the Brigade of Midshipmen by managing a repository for works of art, documents, ship models, and other objects pertaining to the history of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps and the Naval Academy.  The Director supervises the Museum staff, and gives guidance to the collection, recording, preservation, and display of objects, documents, and works of art of historical interest.  The Director also administers programs to make items of historical interest available for research; serves as an educational and inspirational resource for the Brigade of Midshipmen, other students of naval history, and visitors; provides collections and items of historical interest for exhibit by other museums, working with alumni groups in preserving naval heritage.
